About
Pia Voigt was born in Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz). She studied German Linguistics and History in Jena and Erlangen and has held positions as a research assistant at the institute of German Linguistics of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg as well as at the university archive at the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. After one year as a teacher for German as a foreign language she decided to study Library andInformation Science at the HTWK in Leipzig and started working in research data management. Since 2020, she has been working as a research data consultant at Leipzig University. She also led a work package on »Open Science« for three years as part of the Arqus European University Alliance.
Since February 2024, Pia Voigt has been a research assistant in the project »SaxFDM DMP 2 – Implementierung und Roll-Out eines sachsenweitenServices zur Datenmanagementplanung« funded by the State Ministry of Science and Cultural Affairs of Saxony.
