The GWZO is committed to its mandate of researching Eastern Europe and disseminating deep knowledge about the history and culture of the region acquired on-site. The annual report gives an account of a year's activities and is the means by which the Institute presents its results to the public, funders and the academic community.
The annual report is published each autumn of the following year.
