Die Bibliothek des GWZO - Wissen finden

Division of the Directorate

Library and Digital Services

A future-oriented Leibniz specialist library is being established here, which continually expands its collection and is already the largest specialist library on Eastern and Central Europe in eastern Germany.

The GWZO is responding to the opportunities and challenges of digitisation, open science and research data management. This particularly concerns the materiality and mediality of the knowledge generated, disseminated and stored. The GWZO is working on standardizing and networking data, as well as virtual indexing of arcane sources, to utilize digital possibilities critically and productively.
